The version G was the most produced variant of the PZKPFW V Panther and replaced the execution A from 1944 in production. The chassis was designed cheaper and further improvements flowed into production continuously. Vehicles of the final version showed a modified motor deck and a shaped roller anthelet. With its 7.5 cm fighter cannon 42L/70 and storey -repellent forms, the panther proved to be a dangerous opponent. The V-12 cylinder Maybach HL 230p30 Ottomotor with 700 hp of peak performance enabled the 44,800 kg Panther Subject G a top speed of up to 55 km/h.
